Join Professor D. A. Bomm in discovering how fireworks are made, why LOVE really is chemistry and what compound reactions caused the Hindenburg disaster. Students will ponder the properties of various chemicals, explore elements from the Periodic Table and investigate physical and chemical reactions.

If creepy crawlies are your interest, Professor Bomm, along with dedicated members of NSU's Biology Department, will introduce you to lizards, snakes and bugs ~ oh my! Your adventure may include mixing up a batch of super balls, competing in a building contest, discovering "who done it" with forensic science, or kissing an iguana.

Dr. Samuel Marshall, Assistant Professor in NSU's Biology Department, introduces students to a well-behaved tarantula.

Your adventure into the Black Hole will begin when you cross the event horizon at 10 am local time. Gravity will release you at 1 pm. Be sure to pack a lunch!
